THE ADVENTURES OF OXYGEN DEPRIVEATION

(Revolving around  ME, Ethan)

Mid-winter, who knows what year, our family is boarding a Delta plane to Denver,CO.

Oh, sorry, did I forget to introduce myself??? My name is Ethan.

Well, as I was saying, our family is busy boarding the plane and all of us are excited because we all knew how to ski, so, we wold have PLENTY of time to ski. But, mid-flight, I started to feel weird in my stomach, and told my dad. But, he was no help. So, after we had arrived, we drove up the mountain to Breckenridge breckenridge-town(all the while I started feeling worse)and saw TANKS[ 🙂 ] on the side of the road!! As soon as we got there, it was getting dark, so we had dinner and went to bed.

The next morning, we put on sunblock(the snow reflects the sun) and went out skiing. After taking the ski lift up, I started to, yet again, feel sick, except worse. I told my mom, and she said we’d ski down quickly. On the way down, my mom saw a camera guy, and decided we should stop, against what she said. But, I could barely move, so the 15 minutes it took to get down, felt like a 200 ton cement was on top of me.

After we got back down, we went to the doctors and he said it was that I had a cold, and, normally, your body adjusts to high/low altitudes fine, but, since I had a cold, my body was unable to.

So, every night we were there, I had to sleep with tubes up my nose, pumping pure lower altitude oxygen into my lungs.

Eventually, we left, and I was very relieved.

So, after like 3-4 years, I still remember that family trip.

An autobiographical writing/typing by Ethan.
