What’s Up Wednesday is where you write about what is happening in the classroom. Today we learned about  anthropology which is the study of humans. It comes from the Greek word anthrop which means human. Now  the whole class just went out of the classroom to be anthroplologists. If you want to learn about more about anthropolgy click on this.

Anthropology Anthropedia

We are trying to learn about Anthropology as part of our Culture project.  So, as part of our Word Play Wednesday we searched on-line about Anthropology and we found a lot.

  • “Anthropos” comes from the Greeks and means “Human”
  • “Ology” means “the study of”
  • So, Anthropology means the study of humans.
