Ever Breath Review

Join Truman and his twin sister Camille on a enchanting mission to save two worlds bent on each other for survival. the Breath world is parallel world to ours were mythical creatures roam free, some creatures Truman and his twin encounter strange things like fire breathers, and unicorns.  Truman and Camille will find that saving the worlds will be harder than they first thought.  the book, THE EVER BREATH, ends with a stunning passage:

The girls eyes fluttered open, and for a moment she looked surprised, almost happy.  But than her face tightened into an angry, vengeful glare.  Milta was very much alive.

The book was not the page turner I was looking for,  but don’t get me wrong was good but not quite what I was looking for the plot was right there looking at me the whole time not as hidden as I thought it could be.  This book is good to read to a class and I would say you should read it to see if its good for you .  I recommend this book for kids 8-12.

HAITI EARTHQUAKE

On Jan. 12,2010 at noon in Haiti something happened to change the lives of over 200,000 people and putting out the flames of hope for many others.

Just out side of Por-au-prince the capital of Haiti over 200,000 people died when the 7.0 magntude  earthquake hit.  With Haiti biening one of the poorest places in the world.

Not many buildings were not able to with stand the earthquake the capital was the only building thought to stand if a natural disaster now is in ruins.

“i wanted to help, and i think it brought a lot of attention to Haiti that it needed.” says Ella Kiwala

A fifth grader at CLC in Tallahassee F.L.   Her friend Abby Stone says “it had not sunk in yet it  was so’rta out in the air and i did not pay much attention to it.”

Now Abby and Ella are working full force to help Haiti at CLC.  In Haiti the money they made will help lots.  It could save meny lives.  “iam happy we raised $1,400  and I know it’s going to Haiti so I feel even better.”  said Ella.   “After all Haiti needs every last bit it can get!  Please help Haiti now.” added Paige Machie one other student at CLC.  As i walk a way from CLC I am touched how a hand full of kids in there second to last year of elementary school to kids about to go into middle school and kids about to go to high school all working to gether to help Haiti.

my favorite trip EVER

After a very boring 2 hr flight you are now in Vermont. The house you see over the hill is so cool it is three stories tall and has some dogs you scramble in your car seat trying to see it better then you pass it you slump down in your seat.   You  pass another house and another then finally you see a big white farm house and the car pulls in to the drive way you see corn field and a old cat. You walk in the house to hear what you all ways hear some thing about how you have grown but you were to side tracked to pay attention you are looking a round when you hear some one ask if you want to make bread you say yes and make some bread as the bread rises you go pick corn for dinner and “help” cook dinner you relly  just hold the spoon ,stir and prod the bread filny it’s time for dinner the food was veary good you flop in to a big ancient chair for a pet time with the cat then next thing you know you are in a bed in part of the houes you have not seen its big and stuffed with teddy bears and our bags.

DAY 2

You are on the road to the teddy bear factory and getting a bear then going to the cheese factory and buying cheese and went to a farm you got to get eggs from a chicken!

DAY 3

Today you went apple picking and you got to feed a horse and pick apples you loved it. Then you had a picnic with cousins and other people.  That was some good apple pie.

one of my worst trips ever

If you were in Virginia Living Museum on May5,2003 you probably would have herd a blood curdling screech it came from a small gril(about 4years old) who was writhing on pain on the floor if you had asked what happend you probably would hear this from one of the girl’s relatives: she was running with her cousin and tripped and hit her head on this plaque about sea turtles.  And that would be the end of it but I had to see what happened next.  After 30 min. in a wating room she was finally let in to get stiched up and boy was she mad when she saw the sharp things that were going to go any were near her eye she was kicking and screming when she was pulled out sewed up and let go but she was still mad and will never forget that day no sir.

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

SeaMonsters

At Meriwerther collage prep in Manhattan there is a boy.  Not just any boy of 14, a half blood* boy.  Whose adventures are told in the books “Percy Jackson and the Olympians“.  Percy is the son of Poseidon,** so many hard times are in store for him***, you should read this book it is super good.

* a half blood is a sun or daughter of a god or goddess

** Poseidon the god of the sea

*** seeing man eating sheep, being turned it to a guniea pig, killing the hydra, watching his best friend get all most cooked and all came close to killed in the middle of no were.   I would recommend this book to people who love the greek gods adventure  and hummer.
